The Canon EOS1000D is the smallest and lightest Digital EOS model yet, compact and light enough to take almost anywhere. It’s a semi-professional, digital SLR camera with a large 2.5” LCD panel and control layout, and includes an EF-S 18-55mm (f/3.5-f/5.6) lens.

The EOS1000D represents total digital freedom with access to over 60 EF lenses, including the wide angle EF-S range. High precision, 7-point wide-area auto focus points provides fast, accurate focusing, even with off-centre subjects. Framing your shots is child's play thanks to the Live View mode.
The high performance DIGIC III processor and CMOS sensor combine for optimum results in a range of lighting conditions. Images can be recorded simultaneously in both RAW and JPEG formats for greater post-shooting flexibility, while PictBridge compatibility allows quick, quality prints direct from camera to printer.
Finally, the EOS Integrated Cleaning System makes maintaining the camera a breeze.
