Fiona Paxton has within a year of setting up her own line of accessories created her own very distinctive look, while quickly building up a global profile. A trained textile designer she launched her label in 2008 creating intricate and striking hand-bead necklaces and bracelets in geometric designs.
An avid traveller, Fiona has combined her love for beautiful Indian craftmanship with the British punk era, and the German Bauhaus movement. These influences are easily seen in her handiwork.
Having graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1992 with a distinction in Textiles Design, Fiona has worked in New York, London and Bangkok while consulting for fashion companies such as Chloe, Moschino and Michiko Koshino.
The appeal of her stunning jewellery is that it combines a timeless femininity with a slight raw edge. You can easily wear her hand-beaded geometric necklaces nonchantly over a slashed t-shirt and skinny jeans or elegantly draped over an elaborately beaded silk flapper dress.
