Waitrose Blanc de Noirs NV Champagne, £17.99

With two trophies and one very prestigious award, Waitrose had a successful Monday evening at this year’s International Wine and Spirit Competition awards dinner. Waitrose’s own label Blanc de Noirs and 2002 vintage Champagne both won trophies while the whole wine buying team was honoured with the ‘Wine Buyer of the Year’ award.
