Adelene Fletcher has become famous for experimenting with new styles and techniques producing specialist watercolour paintings. Initially, Fletcher’s background was in textile design, having originally graduated from the Manchester College of Art during the 50s. Her paintings are weaved with her textile’s history and can be seen in her skilful use of colour. Today, she has received numerous awards and critical acclaim, exhibited in the Royal Institute of Painters, and writes and illustrates her own books.
