Good but not exceptional This dress fitted well. I'm a standard size 12. The sleeves were an elegant length, it was a lovely pink colour, and the material was luxuriously slinky. It wasn't as well finished as I would have expected for Alexon. The gathered knot at the waist had some loose and unravelled stitching. Overall, it was quite flattering but rather on the mumsy side. It's a good dress, particularly if you're able to pick it up at sale price, but nothing exceptional. On this occasion I opted to return it and choose a more stylish dress instead. 22 April 2013

re dress i bought this dress in a size 14 in navy which id say is more of a dark purple than a navy. it was very flattering i do have a big bust and a not so flat tummy this dress hid my tummy and hugged all the right places very very pleased with dress.. 14 April 2013

Lovely dress I bought this for my Spanish mother in law who is very particular with how clothes look and fit. My husband thought I was nuts buying for her online. The colour really suits her olive skin and the dress looks gorgeous on her, she is naturally very stylish and has a good figure. Think this dress suits people with slightly more bust due to the shape. on a shorter person it may be a little long although my mom in law is a shorter person but she is happy with the length due to her age. It also has a good shape for hiding a little bit of a tummy. I am so pleased with this purchase and so is she! 22 December 2012

Unflattering shape I had such high hopes for this dress, it looks like the sort of shape that normally suits my figure perfectly, but the cut is really weird so the waistline ends up directly under the bust rather than further down on the waist and then the material below hangs awkwardly with excess fabric around the waist that creates an unflattering shape. It also hangs wide at the knees rather than coming in to a narrow point as it appears in the photo. Maybe it would look better on someone with a different shape but I'm afraid I'm sending it back. 14 December 2012
