A playful Toucan brooch from Hattie Carnegie and sourced for us by Alice Joseph Vintage.

Made in the 1960s, the brooch is gilt plated and encrusted with white diamante crystals.

This brooch was designed by Kenneth Jay Lane when he worked for Hattie Carnegie Inc in the 1960s.

New York store owner and fashion designer Hattie Carnegie is very often associated with elegance and high fashion. Her jewellery is highly prized and collectible today.
