I don't normally write reviews but was showing my friend the Noah highchair on the website and noticed the previous review so felt compelled to say how much I disagree and good I think the chair is! I haven't had any of the problems the other reviewer has had.... If you follow the instructions and strap your little one into the chair first and THEN put the belly bar in, there aren't any problems. We've had it for A good few months now and my daughter can't get out of it or lift the tray off. She's shall we say, a bit of a chunky monkey, and finds the seat comfortable. I like the fact that I can release the bar one handed whilst holding her, put her in, strap her in and push the belly bar in. No problem. My tray is also fine.... It doesn't bend or lean. We've only ever wiped it with a bit of detoll and a damp cloth (like it says in the instructions) and it's fine. The seat wipes pretty clean too, we've washed it several times and even tomato based stuff hasn't stained (though we did use vanish!)
I think the chair is very safe. It looks good in our kitchen (unlike those garish cheap plastic ones you can buy), it doesn't take much room up either. We have just started to discard the tray and let my little girl join us at the table, which I really like. It was easy to adjust the footplate height too when her legs grew a bit! Can't recommend it enough!

Rated 1 out of 5 by SamanthaM I have no idea why anyone likes this high chair
I have a lot of experience working with children and have used many different high chairs. This one is by far the worst! The system for getting your child into the thing is farcical! You have the 5 point harness, bending a very stiff wooden bar into place and then slot the tray into place with out trapping your baby's fingers. I don't bother with the harness anymore. When my baby was 5 months old I tried just leaving the wooden bar in place and slipping him in and his legs got stuck. He could sit up, but was wobbly, I had to support him and get the stiff bar to bend into place. He was one of those babies that screams all day, trying to get him in or out quickly was very important to me because he was always on the edge of a melt down, this chair didn't help. I thought as he grew up it would get easier. Well now if he is fed up of being in it he just grabs the tray and lifts it off. So we have had food flying everywhere, my husband or I leaping around trying to save him from holding the full weight of the tray and lots of telling him "no" in the hope that he will learn not to do it. There are more problems, the underside of the tray is cracking and has a sharp edge, if it was on the top it would be almost unusable. It looks as if it has sat in water too long, but I have only ever wiped it down and rinsed it briefly under a tap, I certainly wouldn't say it has ever been wet enough to cause it to crack. Also there is no support on the front of the tray, it has been bent forward a few times either when my son is in it, if he puts weight on it, or when he inevitably uses it to cruise around, the joins where it's bending look very weak and too much more of this will cause the tray to snap off the bars that slot onto the wood. I am constantly trying to keep it out of his reach. And it has ruined many family meal times! So in all we are very disappointed, it's difintely the worst product we have bought for our baby.

It's got quite a small foot print, can evolve and grow with the child up to adult weight, so can sit at the table with family, like the stokke one but a fraction of price and includes all baby cushions, harness and a food tray etc. cons can see where food might get in cracks and will need thorough cleaning, harness seems a bit flimsy and tricky to get on, but figured for the long term it might be more cost effective. My friend has the stokke ones for their twins and they are 5 and still want to sit on 'their' chairs, where as apparently some kids start to go off their high chair, so wanted one that evolved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JenMc Great product
We spent a considerable amount of time researching highchairs (after all, they need to last a long time) and we are so pleased we chose this one.
We were attracted to its neutral, sleek design which blends in really well with our decor. We also wanted a highchair which would last beyond the 'baby phase' into childhood.
Having used this highchair for the last 6 months, we have no complaints. It is very practical - the tray very easily lifts on and off which makes it easy to clean and means you can tuck the highchair under the table when not in use. The seat cover is also easily removed for cleaning #although we have been able to remove most marks by wiping it#. It also takes up very little space - some of the chairs we looked at took up an awful lot of floor space which we couldn't afford to lose in our kitchen.
Overall, a really excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TJCB Sturdy, good looking highchair
We have just started using this for our 6 month old baby. The assembly instructions were easy to follow & it took less than 20 minutes to put together. The chair is extremely sturdy & looks good.
After comparing to similar alternatives, we chose the BabaBing Noah as it comes with everything you need rather than some others where you have to buy the accessories.
Very happy & will be recommending to my other Mummy friends!

Rated 2 out of 5 by nicnocks Seat is not wipeable and food gets trapped in places
I'm really disappointed with this high chair. I was suspicious of a cream seat cushion but was assured that it was wipeable. This is not the case, the material is no more wipeable than any other material and is in fact so textured that food gets ground in.
I contacted Bababing to complain and they told me just to put it in the washing machine - I can't do this after every meal or even every day or it would not be dry. Even so, I tried and the seat still has exactly the same stains having been through the wash. I don't understand why, at the very least, they don't provide alternative colour seat cushions.
There is also an issue with various nooks and crannies whereby the food gets stuck (by the crotch strap) and you can't get it out without dismantling. I also find that because the tray lip is not sealed to the wood tray, food gets squished into this area making it difficult to get clean.
I'm not sure who the manufacturers get to test their products! I wish I'd spent the extra money and gone for the other make of high chair that grows with baby.
Such a shame as it does look lovely at the table in place of one of the dining chairs.

Looks good, completely functional, keeps my little houdini safe. Cleans well, slight niggle that there are a few little nooks &crannies for old food, but overall very very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Simon1976 Good Quality Highchair For The Price!
I was looking for a highchair that is particularly well made and that has longevity so it can be used beyond toddler years.
I carried out quite a bit of research on high chairs that ticked my boxes and that were reasonably priced.
After all that, I found that this highchair has done the job marvellously! Firstly, it comes with absolutely everything you need without having to pay for added extras which can be a pain.
The highchair itself is well made, sturdy and most importantly safe, as my little girl loves playing with her toys on the feeding tray which comes with the chair.
In terms of placing my little girl in and out of the chair, this I found very straight forward by squeezing the wooden bellybar so it can be removed from the chair. Once this has been completed, I simply placed my girl in the chair and squeezed it back into its slots and attached the safety harness to her. Very easy to carry out! The wife can even do it one handed!
One aspect I love about the chair is the fact that the height can be changed really easily for when my girl grows by simply moving the seat and foot board into the other slots that are located on the chair, so she can use it for years to come.
Overall, the features and accessories that are included with the chair in relation to the price is excellent, and I cannot recommend this highchair enough!
