Bouncy waves! I'm not very good with my hair and find it difficult to section but thought I would give these a try. Fist experience a bit tricky, a glove for one hand that was very slippery, so I used a pair of old leather driving gloves. Results weren't bad for first time fledgling and I think I can improve with more experience. Definitely gives more of a salon style look rather than my usual frizz from fine fly-away (that has a natural wave), past shoulder length hair. Would recommend considering the price is reasonable and not a disaster if I don't use them very often! Would highly suggest using a pair of leather gloves to shop hands from being burnt. 16 December 2012

Lovely beachy waves This product arrived really quickly, great service from John Lewis. It is so lovely, it gives really pretty beachy, loose waves and even in my baby fine hair they do last. The different heat settings are also really useful with fine hair so that you don't scorch your hair. 11 December 2012

So quick I've always used a narrow barel tong hair styler and have found the curls too tight. This product produces large beautiful waves. I sometimes curl my hair the night before and sleep on it and the next morning it's got this lovely relaxed wave. I found this helpful link on you tube about how best to use this product. Another bonus is that it's so quick to use. It's what I've been looking for. 14 November 2012

Great! I only received this item today so have only used it once but so far it is perfect! I have really long hair so I find that using traditional curling irons aren't very effective, and i have never mastered the use of straighteners as curlers, so I was looking for something different. These are amazing - they make really nice loose curls, but not so loose that you can't notice, they are more 'big' than loose I would say. This is perfect for my long hair because I find that having small tight curls can look a bit odd and I prefer a more natural look. I must stress that these DO work though - before buying I read reviews saying 'natural', 'loose' and worried that the curler wouldn't really do anything, but it really does! Also very easy to use, once you've practiced on a couple of pieces of hair you'll find it very easy. It comes with a bag, a mat and a glove so you're all set to curl straight away. Very highly recommended and a great price too. 13 November 2012

It works! I'm really happy with this item so thought I'd spread the word.... It creates a modern bouncy wave to the hair without the need for a trip to the hairdressers. Only a couple of practise attempts necessary and you should be away. I deliberated whether to buy this as I thought that it may be just another one of those electrical appliances that ends up in the loft because it doesn't work. But I was wrong. This product is good, especially considering the price. I think these are flying off the shelves but their new owners are trying to keep them a secret! I'm surprised there hasn't been more reviews! 05 November 2012
