Pleased Like other reviewers here I am no ex Braun user and overall after several weeks use I am happy with this BaByliss styler. The barrel is larger in circumference than my old Braun and does take longer to heat up but I am just pleased that another gas styler was available to buy. 03 February 2013

poor substitute For years I have used a B~raun gas styler and simply do not know what to do without it. However they are no longer available and so I have been searching for a substitute. I had come accross the Babyliss maller styler and tried it but it was too small so I tried this one. Unfortunately it is really quite useless. I cannot manage without the brush and the brush is designed so that the hair does not touch the heat so it is barely hot enough to do much good. The result was disasterous. Oh woe is me, I am really quite desperate, still it was worth a try. Thanks. 07 October 2012

really useful product I had many of these made by another company and I was devastated when they went out of productiion .I found them so useful. I was delighted to find that BaByliss are now making them. It doesn't get quite as hot as the previous one but nevertheless it's usefullness outways that. The gas lasts quite a long time and it's great to carry in your handbag, a boon for flyaway hair with all the rain we've had! 28 August 2012

Just what I needed As I was about to go into hospital I needed something to try and keep my hair tidy. This product fitted the bill beautifully and was extremely easy to use. Loved the fatter barrel for use on my mid length hair. 17 August 2012

Handy hair tongs for traveling I brought this for going on holiday for ease but i was a bit disappointed with the result it doesn't curl my hair that well. good for adding a bit of a wave or volume. may be better on shorter hair as i have very long hair. 20 June 2012
