BabyStyle Oyster 2 Mirror Chassis and Seat, Black
Simply the best!
I can totally recommend this amazing pushchair! We live on the first floor so needed something lightweight to carry and folds small. It's so easy to manoeuvre even with one hand and on bumpy surfaces. With an addition to a car seat it converts to a travel system. My baby must be very comfy too as she happily naps in it whereas she wouldn't in our previous pushchair. The shopping basket is large which is great for shopping. Hooks for changing bag are a godsend. The only thing that needs improvement is bumper as it is a bit fiddly to use. This pushchair has everything I was looking for and for that reason I give it 5 stars. Oh yes, it looks fantastic too!

Very good pushchair!
Similar size to Oyster 1 but looks like Oyster Max. It has best of both. Very easy to push and steer. Easy to fold und unfold. Very good looking pushchair. Small and light. I would recommend it to a friend.

I bought this for our first baby, which is due in July. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I can't wait! So far I love it, I didn't have any problems assembling it, and it looks really smart. Just what I wanted, lightweight, folds down small, lie-flat option for newborn, and large shopping basket underneath. Hopefully once we have the baby and start using this pushchair, it will live up to expectations!
Had to wait a while for it to be in stock, and now I've noticed that it's out of stock again... as it's a John Lewis exclusive, this is a real pain, and I almost had to choose a different pushchair.

upgraded from version 1
Having owned the original version Oyster I was looking forward to version 2 as the things I would have changed appeared to have been done on the new one. The hood (purchased separately with the colour pack) now stays in place and looks much neater and still has the zipped extension, the shopping basket is much bigger and has a pocket at the front for the rain cover, the seat is more upright allowing better posture and now has a better lay flat option allowing it to be used from birth without a carrycot or car seat which it usefull when they get a bit bigger but still too small to use a six month plus seat (the head hugger can be used in the stroller and comes in the colour pack) the pads on the five point harness are still very comfy so no rubbed necks or shoulders.
This is a very neat pushchair and with it's narrow width and adjustable handle it is easy to use on public transport and the apron included is quite thick very useful in cold windy weather. The reason for not giving it 5* is the rain cover which has gone backwards, it can only be used properly when the seat is in the upright position as it attaches to the frame so it your little one is asleep and the seat / footrest in lay flat mode the cover will not keep them dry if it is even slightly windy - my advise track down a version 1 cover and use that instead as it attaches to the seat frame .
However delivery on this item was more than rubbish, it was in stock at JL but took 16 days to arrive - 9 days after I ordered it JL handed it over to a courier company who then took 7 days to deliver (this harks back to the 80's before online ordering!!) not the 7 days advertised and no apology.
