You will never go back to your old foundation!!!! I like a medium coverage foundation but like to be able to build it up to heavy if needed! I have very combination skin - oily t zone but I also get very dry patches on my face. For this reason I had put off trying bare minerals for ages thinking it would make my skin look patchy as the powder would settle in the dry patches. I was very wrong. One day at a beauty salon the beauty therapist put some on my skin. I have not looked back since! I can't even bare the though of putting a liquid foundation on my skin now. Bare minerals evens out the skin tone, suits all skin types, improves your skin (!!!) and never creates an orange line as it is so blend-able! I now rave about it to all my friends! Light on the skin I hate the claggy feel of trad. foundations; also they tend to sit on my skin. Then I went to New York and got introduced to this range; came off a flight looking like the bride of Godzilla, got made up in a dept store and went to a business meeting looking better than I could believe. One of those keep looking in the mirror moments! Delighted when JL started stocking this product and I can just drop into Cambridge and pick it up. 20 July 2012
FANTASTIC - BEST MAKE UP EVER I can 100 percent say, that without a doubt this is defiantly the best make up out there! I have previously used oily liquid foundations which have not done my skin any good , especially in the heat ,where it just melts off, causes more spots/bacteria and fades. The beauty of this make up is that you only need a tiny bit and your skin will look airbrushed and it will feel like there is nothing on your face so it can feel like it can actually breathe! I have suffered from acne for years and after using this make up for just over a year now, its really helped my skin to settle down, with its lovely natural ingredients and my acne has now gone due to the help of this make up! i would definitely recommend this for people who feel insecure about there face or just generally want to go out feeling more confident , i feel much more confident with this 100 percent coverage and you dont feel like youer wearing anything on your face! Brilliant! As someone with very pale skin I was dreading the lightest shade being too dark but applied with a light hand this is one of the more beautiful foundations I've used. I'd definitely urge you to choose the original over the matte version. This gives you a lovely glow without being a disco ball or people being able to tell you're even wearing anything. I'd probably avoid the bridge of the nose if you suffer with oily or dry skin though, it clings a bit too well in that area on dry skin so can be a bit shiny and does the same with oil. Haven't had any problems with any other areas though. Feels light on the skin and is quick and easy to apply so perfect for on the go and summer. 23 May 2012
Great foundation If you haven't tried this you should. I was skeptical about how well the powder would cover when in reality you have to be careful not to use too much. It gives a great and even coverage, and the spin top lid inside stops the powder from going everywhere when you pop it in your bag. A great product! 11 May 2012
Takes a while to get used to I have never used a powder foundation before and the first time I used it put on way to much. Had to buy a new brush to help but now I've got the hang of it would say it's excellent well worth putting the effort in to get used to it. 18 April 2012
Bare Essentials Foundation An excellent product, very easy to use, with excellent results covering blemishes. I would recommend this product highly to people with sensitive skin, as i suffer this myself. Don't be fooled by thinking that a powder foundation can look thick and cloggy or irritate, as this product gives a flawless and youthful look to the skin, without emphasising any wrinkles or lines. Don't think twice about this purchase, go for it!, prepare to be amazed. 29 February 2012
