Q & As

Belling FSE60MF Electric Cooker, Stainless Steel 4 5 3 3
Quite extraordinary Four Induction Hobs with gas-like responsiveness mark this cooker out, and for the money it's unique. Sure some bits are not terribly solid, the shelf supports and rails are light weight but they are up to the task. The main oven gives the option of thermo grilling, top heat, bottom heat and slow cooking. The hob offers an auto turn-down (to get things boiling) and a very low heat for slow pan cooking. It's a brilliant cooker at a bargain price - and made in the UK. 05 August 2014
very good cooker I like the Belling because of its multifunction settings. It seems a bit complicated and confusing but gives you all the flexibility to cook different types of food. It is wide and looks good. The ceramic top does mark up easily, so better use ceramic stove top cleaner every day. 05 March 2014
Could have done better This cooker looks good. The controls are well designed and because they are below a clear layer, they cannot be rubbed off, unlike with many other cookers. It seems fairly sturdy at first glance. However, on closer examination the grill element can easily come free and drop down to some degree. The end of it near the door rests only on a flimsy piece of wobbly metal which is also quite sharp. A careless move could easily end up in a cut hand. What a pity! If Belling is serious about this new cooker (introduced in May I was told) then they should really be more careful with the design. 15 January 2014
