Product information

A range of contemporary dining room furniture made from solid and oak veneers with a natural lacquer. Designed exclusively for John Lewis by Bethan Gray.

This dining table is made entirely of oak. The grain direction follows the width of the table, emphasising the solidity of the wood and giving the table a contemporary feel. The X-shaped legs are strengthened by a stretcher bar.

A choice of chair styles is available to complement this piece, including a bench for a more casual look.

So happy I bought this table Just got this table this morning and assembled it which was not difficult. It is a beautiful piece of solid furniture which looks great with my existing Hans Wegner Oak Wishbone chairs in my kitchen/dining room. The unextended size is great for everyday and it's good to have the option to extend it for when the family comes to stay. It seems like quite a lot of money to spend on a table but there were other tables which were the same price and this one knocks spots off them. It's worth every penny 04 April 2013

Lovely solid table I bought this with some other items in the Noah range, it's a stunning solid table that everyone comments on. We managed to get 7 adults & 2 children around it at Christmas fairly comfortably when it was extended so it's practical as well as great looking! 02 February 2013

You get what you pay for This table is pricey but, despite looking around, I just couldn't find anything I liked as much. So glad I decided to invest in it - it looks Lovely and is a real quality piece of furniture. It's a beautiful design which I think will stand the test of time. 09 December 2012

The table I've been waiting for! Now my kids are old enough not to trash everything in the house, I wanted to splash out on a really nice table. The Noah table is beautifully designed, solidly made, and will seat lots of people for family gatherings with the extension leaf, but be perfect for everyday un-extended. Great if you don't have a huge dining room. As I didn't want a 'matchy-matchy' look I have combined it with a mix of Ercol chairs - the table's design is distinctive, but simple enough to mix and match if you want to. And best of all I picked it up for half price in the clearance sale! 10 July 2012

Great table We just ordered this for the kitchen in our new house and we're delighted with it. Very solid, easy to extend and looks good. It's an investment but we think its definitely worth it. And the nice delivery men kindly put it together for me. Thank you John Lewis - much appreciated as it's a heavy bit of furniture. just wish there was a dresser/shelving to go with as that's the next thing on our wish list! 30 May 2012

Stunning dining table We had a bad experience when we bought a dining table from another supplier - basically the top split! Having managed to return it after some lengthy negotiations, we decided to go to John Lewis because one can trust their quality and service. The Noah is beautifully made and very elegant. In fact, the photos do not do it justice somehow. And big thank you to the delivery men who were very polite and even took all the packaging away. 25 April 2012

Just what we wanted We splashed out on the Noah table rather than an entire table and chairs set from another shop because the Noah is so well made. It looks fantastic, is beautifully finished and goes really well with our new kitchen and original 50s/60s chairs. 05 March 2012
