Q & As

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 37 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Next best thing to a dedicated machine - but a fraction of the price. I have three of these! Was going to invest in a machine, but got so confused about all the choices and concluded that the investment couldn't be justified (I typically have just one or two cups of good coffee a day). Also, I was concerned about the space a machine would take up and the time needed to clean it after each use. The stove top is simple to use. Having three means my wife can enjoy a decaf, while I have a 'full-on shot ... and there's a spare one for visitors. Only criticism is that steam issues from near the up of the handle and there is a risk of scalding. need to handle with a suitable cloth or light oven glove. 13 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks good, works really well I bought this to replace a cheap aluminium espresso maker that I'd been using for a couple of years. The improvement in quality is striking. The lower part which contains the water has remained unmarked after several months of use, and the shiny stainless steel exterior is just as bright as it was on day 1. The quality of the coffee it makes is also excellent, without any obvious metallic taste from the coffee maker. The only thing I would say is that you really need to remove the rubber gasket in order to dry it properly after washing, and that isn't all that easy to do. 03 May 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by useful coffee maker I have used this product before but it was great to have the larger coffee maker the only fault they have is the seal which you have to replace an extra seal should be given when you buy one still a very good product 12 April 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get in my coffee hole! Easy to use, easy to clean. So easy I'm drinking 2 -3 pints of espresso a day. 05 April 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stainless Steel Coffee Maker Purchased this product as I wanted a stainless steel coffee maker. Generally very pleased, makes a lovely cup of coffee, looks good. Couple of issues, quite noisy and not sure when it has finished, also a small amount of water leaks out of the lid and runs down the handle. 05 April 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleased! I got this to replace a similar one which wouldn't work on my new induction hob. This works perfectly on the hob, and is very easy to use. It spits slightly at the top if you don't remove it from the heat as soon as it's "done", but it's so quick anyway that it isn't a problem. It isn't very big - the manufacturers must use very tiny espresso cups! 09 March 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing design fault As we had moved to an induction hob, we had to get a new espresso pot and this looked ideal. If only I had read the reviews before buying. The pot makes as good coffee as our original Bialetti. However, there is a design fault as mentioned in other reviews. At the hinged joint of handle and lid, steam escapes and condenses and so boiling water runs down the handle. This means continual dripping on the hob as well a burned thumb on a couple of occasions. In the end, we had to return the pot. It is particularly disappointing since it appears that this fault has been pointed out many times but the manufacturers haven't addressed the problem. 22 February 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Espresso maker Beautiful lines, easy to use on my induction hob and easy to clean. Large enough to make several cups. Can't fault it 09 February 2016
