My baby and I love it! My friends had a good laugh at me when they heard I'd bought this, saying it was ridiculously expensive. But actually everyone who visits comments on how great it looks. Most highchairs are hideous eyesores (if you hate tacky cartoon patterned plastic which babies can't even see anyway because they are sitting on it, you'll like the Bloom Fresco) but this one fits in really well with our home. More importantly, my baby actually really likes being in it! The great thing about the chair is that unlike many, it is really height adjustable so you can have it at coffee table level, dining table level, or even breakfast bar level. I quite often put my baby in it even when he's not eating, just so he can watch what's going on and join in with what we are doing. The other really good thing about it is that newborns can sit in it too (in "cradle mode"), so you can get a lot of use out of it. It's pretty easy to get them into it and do the straps up. The drawbacks? It is heavy (although that does it give it massive stability), and it's not the sort of thing you can fold up and put away. We also had a false start with a part that didn't work properly, although the manufacturer worked hard to put that right. Although it looks so good you won't want to... 19 April 2013
