Better than expected I have never used a tinted moisturiser or BB cream before because I have a few slight areas of discolouration on very pale skin. I was attracted to this for the summer and the high SPF. I am pleasantly surprised. it gives as much- or more- coverage than B Brown Moisture Rich foundation and her Skin Foundation- each of which is very sheer in my opinion. This is quite sheer but on application it dries quickly so you can build up coverage. I bought the extra fair and it's slightly darker than Porcelain if you are a Bobbi Brown user. I still use a moisturiser under it and think you'd need to unless you have very oily skin. With a dab of concealer this works well- only 4 stars as you need to use quite a bit and it's expensive. 21 May 2013

gives a really good finish I started using this in September and several people have told me my skin looks fantastic since then which has been a real thrill. I don't have the best skin: dry and mildly spotty which is not a great combination but this really moisturises and evens out my complexion. I initially purchased extra light as I am extremely pale and was delighted to know that was a wee bit too pale even for me! It lasts particularly well when combined with the Bobbi Brown Pale Yellow powder . I would highly recommend it. 26 January 2013

OK - not the miracle I expected I really love Bobbi Brown products but just didn't like using this BB cream. Bought this about 6 months ago when BB creams were beginning to be introduced and have continued to use it since, mainly because of the price I paid for the product so felt I should at least give it a chance. Was expecting a miracle product but this didn't deliver. Limited choice of shades - despite being colour-matched in store - so it made me look very pale (unwell looking) and had to blend this with foundation to give a good colour. One good thing is that it is long lasting as you only need a small amount for application. Have now reached the end of the tube and would not re-purchase this cream. 31 December 2012

Good coverage This product provides good coverage - at first I thought that it was a bit 'claggy' and was disappointed as it did not seem to absorb well. However, I realised that I was applying way too much. Previously I was using Bobbi Brown tinted moisturiser but you need to apply much less than that and really blend it. Once I did that it provided great lasting coverage and am really pleased. 07 November 2012

Lovely texture and beautifully moisturising Having previously used Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser for years, to which I am now inexplicably allergic (they must have changed the formula), I have been looking for a good replacment for around 6 months. This Bobbi Brown BB cream is ideal. The texture is that of a medium weight mosturiser, not too thick, making even coverage easy to achieve. Coverage is light, simillar to a tinted moisturiser so concealer will be required for blemishes or high colour areas. My skin remains hydrated all day with no need to re-apply. I have a relatively pale Scottish complexion, (blue eyes and blond hair), albeit with a slight tan at present but after a bit of trial and error have found that the medium shade works best for my skin tone. I think the lighter shades would work best for those with a classic fair or very fair skin tone. 05 August 2012

Good but a little chalky I have used this for a couple of weeks now and do like the medium coverage it provides, but do find it a little tricky to apply - the texture is smooth and easy to spread initially, but quickly dries to a more solid/chalky texture and is then harder to distribute evenly, especially on some of the trickier areas around the hairline/eybrows etc. I also find the finish a little 'flat' on my face, but will try one shade darker to see if it will look more natural. On the plus side it seems to deal well with areas prone to shine. Not as perfect as I had hoped, so search for perfect everyday foundation will continue. 04 August 2012

lovely Like this a lot. Gives very natural looking coverage that lasts all day and withstands a workout at the gym. I bought the medium which gives a really natural colour that is less orange and paler than the medium oil free moisturiser. 30 July 2012
