More Peat than Heather Bought this in 'Heather'. No way is it close to any shade of heather and is certainly not like the colour spectrum I chose it from - more like the soil it grows in -peat. Also, it has a powdery look to it when applied - very old-fashioned looking. Because of this it's unsuitable for blending with other eye shadows so straight into the bin I'm afraid . Maybe the term "long wear" means that the product has less oil in it - the more oily the product the less likely it is to 'hold' all day - which would be why it has such a flat look to it - a bit like Estee Lauder's double wear foundation - another waste of money. 01 April 2013

Eye Shadow Having used many brands of eye-shadow over the years, I now find this to be the only one I am happy with. I use it with a primer and the colour stays put all day without creasing or going oily. I like the Stone shade best as it is neutral and flattering. 19 December 2012

best eyeshadow I just had to do this review on the eyeshadow. I normally use different products and today i used the Bobbi Brown eyeshadow and let me tell you all it has stayed on now for ten hours and still looks like i just applied it. Its well worth the investment and would recommend it . I will be using this product from now on. 08 December 2012

great if you want to make your eyes look 10 years older this shadow goes on creamy, and gives you the impression that it will cosset your eyes in dreamy, moist colour - wrong. in fact what it does is dry to a scaly/crepey finish. not a great look, especially when your eyes arent actually crepey to begin with. do yourselves a favour ladies, grab a magnifying mirror (a girls cruel but necessary bf) and look at the skin on your eyes when you have finished your makeup and it has set/dried - you will then sling this horrible stuff in the bin 02 November 2012

Excellent Product This is the first time that I have tried a Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow, it certainly deserves the award it received. Very easy to apply, either with a brush or with just one finger, having applied the product at 8 o"clock in the morning, it was still crease free until late in the evening. Brilliant!! 09 February 2012
