Bobble Water Jugs, 2L
Good looking but useless product
smart looking product but not practical enough. It leaks everywhere when you pour water.

I bought this expecting a straightforward, functional product, but I'd like to agree with the other reviews and warn others not to buy.
It doesn't pour well at all. With the lid on the water just runs down the side and makes a complete mess. With the lid off it still drips.
The filter really does take ages to let water through, and not enough water can be stored in the top to just leave it filtering, so you have to wait while water drizzles through.
A truly dismal product.

good looking but useless. only just squeezes into fridge door, slow to filter and does not pour very well. have returned it after one week.

Whilst this looks nice, and is a jug you could put on the table, it pours terribly. There seems to be a problem with the spout and the water runs down the jug side.
I agree with the other reviewers that it takes a ridiculous amount of time to refill. When you set it up they tell you to soak the filter before filling which is fine but you can't do this every time you want to fill the jug up.
I shall be taking this back to John Lewis and swapping for a less attractive but more practical alternative.

Does not fit fridge door
The description that the jug fits fridge doors - implying all fridge doors - is absolutely wrong. Jug may fit giant-size American fridges but it does NOT fit into the door of a standard built-in UK fridge. In turn, this makes it difficult to put anywhere inside the fridge as the jug is, of course, tall and wide at the base.
Don't agree with a reviewer's comments about the flip-lid not lifting when water is poured, I have had no problem with that. Also find jug fills perfectly well.

Extremely slow to fill. Poorly designed product.
The filter is very slow to let water through and sits right at the top of the jug, which means that you end up trickling water from the tap very slowly and you are standing at the sink as long as it takes the water to filter into the jug.
Another problem with this is that the hinged bit on spout doesn't flip open when you pour water, leading to spillage. You have to flip the spout cover up and down manually which, while a minor thing, becomes a major irritation when you have to do it every single time you use the jug.
If you're at all used to Brita filter jugs - which sit the filter about halfway down the jug at the bottom of a reservoir that you can fill very quickly from the tap - don't buy this. If you're wondering if to buy this or the Brita, go for Brita every time.

We LOVE this
This makes a massive difference to our rubbish drinking water in Sussex. We would not be without it, and it looks good on the table at dinner!

I bought this for it's design and Concept of being able to use on the table as a carafe. Firstly the stickers on the side wouldn't come off without leaving a residue which I can't get off no matter how hard I try. So now the design aspect has gone due to the unsightly mark on the side. Also the design seems wrong as the filter is so slow and if you put your tap on fast then unfiltered water gets in the spout. I'm taking mine back to John Lewis and I have sent a mail to the Bobble company with my feedback.
