Cook a jacket potato or simply heat some soup with the Bosch HMT75M451B microwave oven.

Finished in an attractive brushed steel finish, this microwave oven features 3 weight auto-cook and 4 weight auto-defrost programmes. With weight automatic programmes, you simply enter the type of food you are cooking along with its weight, and this microwave will automatically calculate the optimum heat level and cooking time.

The HMT75M451B features 5 power levels along with a 99 minute timer. A powerful 800W output ensures high performance when reheating and defrosting, while rotary controls and the clear LED display allow you to set the timer and heat level effortlessly. Keeping an eye on your food is easy too, thanks to the interior light.

Please note: for proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow i.e. 5cm at one side, the other being open; 15cm clear over the top; 10cm at the rear.

Dangerous Fault Unfortunately like several other reviewers' comments, after only 3 years this product started to heat on its own which was a bit scary. Bosch recommended buying another product. Sadly it won't be a Bosch this time. It's a shame because it is a very nice looking product. 04 April 2013

Not bad while it worked - dangerous when it didn't I buy Bosch because of the quality of their products. This microwave looks good and does the basics. I mainly used it for defrosting - which it was ok at, though patchy with some parts rather too hot and others still frozen - and heating drinks and vegetables, which it did fine. Compared to other decent quality microwaves it is quite loud. It came with a 2 year warranty/guarantee. Two years thee weeks after purchase, it stopped functioning, and in a dangerous way. The microwave came on at full power whenever the door was closed - without being set to do so. The light didn't come on, nor did the turntable move. It is fortunate that it is noisy otherwise it might not have been noticed. I have replaced it with a Panasonic which costs £10.00 more, seems to be better quality, better features and, according to Which?, better performance - by some way. It is also quieter. Mine is the third one that has been reported on this site that has developed this problem - the others after about two years as well. I would avoid this product. It clearly has a fault and is potentially dangerous. 21 March 2013

Disappointed We bought this microwave as we generally buy Bosch appliances however, have been disappointed. The microwave moves backwards when you press the door release button which means you have to hold it with one hand every time you open the door. This means lots of finger marks over the (not brushed) stainless steel! Also, have discovered larger dinner plates do not fit in. 20 March 2013

Stopped working after only 3 years This Microwave worked perfectly and wasn't used heavily, but then suddenly stopped working after just 3 years. The light was on, the plate rotated, but the heat ceased coming! A real shame as we'd have expected better longevity from a Bosch product. We've now bought a Panasonic from JL instead which will hopefully outlive the Bosch! 20 January 2013

Smoking microwave Our microwave failed just now after only 2 years. It overheated and smoked from the rear panels and almost caught fire! This was suprising as it was a Bosch product. Probably get an extended warranty next time. 16 January 2013

Good but noisy! I bought this as a present for my son, he is pleased with styling and says that it cooks well. His only negative comment was that it was noisy. 15 January 2013

Easy to use but stylish microwave I wanted a 'good looking' and easy to use microwave with no frills and this really 'fits the bill'. It matches well with my other Bosch appliances and the controls are very user friendly. Other reviews commented on the annoying beep at the end of the program but it does not go on for very long and is no more noticable than other microwaves. 04 January 2013

Does what it says on the box! Seems to be a well made item as you would expect from Bosch. Very easy to operate. I would have rated it excellent if the graduation of watts matched that currently used by the majority of food shops in the UK, i.e. 650, 750, 850 instead of which ti is graduated 300, 600, 800. 27 November 2012
