The fully electronic control dial for sensor drying includes timed and special programmes, giving you complete control over your drying.

The intelligent sensor-drying feature on the WTW84160GB ensures the programme switches off when your clothes are dry, and will then go through its anti-crease phase for up to 120 minutes.

Featuring special programmes for any load, this Bosch appliance has every laundry need covered: settings include special programmes for woollens, mixed loads and sportswear. The Super Quick programme dries your clothes in just 40 minutes, which comes in handy when you need those jeans dried before you leave the house!

Not all its cracked up to be Things started well with John Lewis’s usual standards for delivery and customer service, but this dryer is not for me and I’m sending it back for the following reasons: 1. It does not get clothes dry, even on the “Extra dry” setting. I suspect Bosch know this because the manual has the audacity to say something along the lines of “Hot clothes feel wetter than cold ones, so it’s probably dry even though they may not feel dry because they are warm.” That goes against everything I thought I knew, where colder tends to equate with feeling wetter. Its also the case that if I put the dryer on again with the same load, loads more water is extracted. 2. It takes ages to dry stuff. Nearly three hours for a load of towels, already spun at 1200RPM. My old vented dryer was about twice as fast. 3. The dryer has stunk out my kitchen with a warm rubbery smell whenever I put it on. expect this would fade with time, but I don’t recall this happening with my older dryer (or any other white good come to that). 24 March 2013

Quiet and dries well This new tumble dryer replaced a 10 year old Bosch condenser dryer. The new one is quieter and dries in a fraction of the time. Electricity meter meanings are also showing its using far less electricity, although this is hard to tell exactly how much more efficient it is. Overall, I'm happy. Only disappointment is that it does not have the option to expel the water down the drain (used by the washing machine) like the old one did. Emptying the drawer all the time seems a bit daft when it could simply send it down the drain. 16 January 2013

a model up from my last dryer this product takes longer to dry clothes but really is energy saving as most dryers are very expense to run. I bought this one for my daughter as i am no living with her and her young family and didnt want clothes hanging around on dryers all the time. 17 December 2012

Plug & play Initial thoughts are this is an excellent machine. Quiet and versatile. Washed load awaiting its arrival - plugged it in and off we went. Only concern is the fluff filter seems a bit delicate - only time will tell. 22 November 2012

Bosch WTW84160GB Sensor Condensor Tumble Dryer. This is one of the few 'A' Rated Condensor Tumble Dryers on the market. Due to current lack of space in the kitchen, I have installed it in the spare bedroom . One of the beauties of a condensor dryer is that one can install it to suit, and no holes need knocking in walls! The only demerit is that it lacks a 'delayed start timer' apart from that it is very quiet in operation and has very gentle audio signal when it has reached the end of its cycle. The opaque door is not a hindrance. 18 November 2012
