Product information

You can enjoy 500 litres of Brita filtered water before you need to change your cartridge, and there’s an indicator at the base of each tap, with a simple traffic light system to show when a cartridge needs changing.

The Brita cartridge improves the taste, smell and appearance of tap water. Its unique mix of ion exchange resin and activated carbon removes not only chlorine but also limescale, heavy metals such as lead and copper and organic impurities. The space-saving cartridge is designed for under-sink installation so you won’t even notice it’s there.

VERY easy to fit! One of these was fitted with the new kitchen as part of the main kitchen tap. John Lewis mail order was the lazy way to get another when the warning light showed it was time to replace the original unit. It was simplicity itself to fit (I left it in the kitchen and my wife fitted it while I was walking the dogs!) so we continue to get much improved water quality that is great to drink straight from the tap. 01 February 2012

Best value for water filter cartridge I searched for the best deal in Brita cartridges for 'in line' water filters and John Lewis was cheaper than Amazon! It was delivered promptly and efficiently - thank you, John Lewis. 27 January 2012

It fits and seems to work Actually this is a fairly simple item and it does what it says on the packet - it fits our filter unit and it lets the water go through and my wife says it tastes better than the lovely Devon water from Dartmoor that comes to me through the regular tap. So I think I should tell you it is 'excellent'. 25 January 2012

Does what it say's on the tin You cannot buy these filter from the main super markets as far I know, so it's nice to get them from my local John Lewis store. 29 December 2011
