Product information

Clean lines, chunky controls and a contemporary stainless steel or gloss black finish make the Q Line the perfect choice for a modern family kitchen.

Featuring a stainless steel hotplate, with matt cast iron supports, 6 aluminium burners align neatly to provide you with excellent cooking power and performance. Two powerful 5kW burners are on hand for rapid cooking.

Below the hob are two electric ovens with triple-glazed see-through doors, internal lights and integral electric grills. Both also have removable oven door, inner glass panels and oven stay-clean roof liners, for easy cleaning. They’re also A-rated for energy. The fully programmable left oven has a Quickstart fast pre-heat system plus 9 programmes for all your cooking needs. The smaller oven has 4 functions and includes a rotisserie for spit roasting. Heavy duty shelves and a storage drawer come as standard and ensures the Q-line range rivals its contemporaries.

Convertible for LPG gas. Dedicated cooker circuit with a 20 amp miniature circuit breaker.

Q & As

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by An improvement This range replaced our older version of the Britannia entry range (100cm). There have been some useful improvements, including the slightly larger conventional (second) oven, the removal of a chrome-plated part around each burner which discoloured badly and the ability to adjust the volume on the timer is helpful. There are, however, a couple of design flaws that have been introduced. Each (triple-glazed) oven door is completely encased in stainless steel. This means that when you open the oven, the top of the door is very hot and having been used to a gap on the old model, it is surprising how frequently we catch our wrists. The second flaw is more of a problem. For someone who does a lot of baking, having an accurately heated oven is important. The temperature controls for both ovens (take a close look at the picture) have a plastic dial at the back of the control indicating the temperature. However, the plastic dial is not fixed and so if, for example, you select 200 degrees, you can't be certain of the temperature because the play on the dial moves approximately 10 degrees either side. On a modern oven, surely it would be possible to do better? 27 November 2014
