Excellent all in one printer This printer was bought to replace an old laser printer and a colour inkjet. For its size it is an extremely versatile unit coping easily with home and small business use. Easy to set up and use, with excellent print functions and very good quality copies of document in black and white and colour. Very pleased and thoroughly recommended 11 December 2012

I could not make a wireless connection I have only used this printer for a few weeks but neither my son or myself could access it wirelessly. We gave up after 4 hours and used a USB cable, and it responded instantly. Not a problem for me (and I expect for many others) as it is only 4ft away from the computer. It is excellent in every respect, and although I will never use the FAX facility, I would recommend this printer unreservedly to anyone who requires quality output. The construction is substantial and well thought out. I have always used a LASER printer an this meets my requirements perfectly. I have no sought a boffin could have connected the machine in two minutes, but it difficult for a novice. I have worked with Apple computers for 25 years, along with Brothers Printers, but this connection left me stumped. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise-perfect. 09 December 2012

Fantastic printer I bought this to replace an Epson CX1100 that was 8 years old, a Panasonic fax machine and a Canon PC340 that I had been using as a copier. This printer does all of these functions brilliantly and also scans to my various MACs/PCs. It's not perfect, but I can live with the few minor issues. Sometimes it drops off the network, but I think this may be a problem with my router rather than the printer. Toner is a bit more expensive than for the Epson, but it did cost about £200 less. Print quality is very good. I also like the fact that I can set up scanning either from my laptop or directly from the printer itself. 27 July 2012
