Bugaboo Bee+, All Black, Special Edition

Product information

Choose any Bugaboo as long as it's black. This limited edition Bugaboo Bee is all in black with a black chassis. Its nimble, one-piece foldable design is easy to manoeuvre and as it grows with your child, it's suitable from newborn to toddler.

The Bugaboo Bee has a spacious, fully reclining, extendable seat that is ideal for newborns and when it's time to update for a toddler, the seat reverses and adjusts to your growing child. Once in seat mode there is a 3 position recline and an adjustable backrest. For added comfort you can add a reversible seat liner for extra padding (sold separately). It allows you to switch from breathable twill to cool mesh, to wick away moisture and keep your child comfortable and dry. The 5-point harness is soft, and has adjustable shoulder pads to ensure a secure fit no matter how small or big your child is.

The Bee is also full of features that will keep mum and dad happy. The one-piece fold makes it easy to carry and store and as it's lightweight it can easily be transferred to a car boot or up stairs. The two front wheels swivel 360 degrees for total agility and the easily accessible foot break allows for fuss-free stopping. All four tyres are foam filled, so they'll never go flat and each wheel is equipped with independent suspension to ensure a smooth ride for parent and child. Plus the height-adjustable handlebar allows for easy one-handed steering.

Compatible with the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and Pebble infant carriers when used with Bugaboo car seat adaptors (sold separately).

Q & As

Bugaboo Bee+, All Black, Special Edition 4.4 5 8 8
Light, nippy and stylish! I've been using my bee for around 8 months now and I absolutely love it. When my baby was newborn it was so easy to attach him in his carseat or lay the seat down enabling him to lie flat. It folds in one piece which is perfect if you are in a hurry with a crying baby or in the rain (no having to remove a bassinet/seat or wheels to fold it like with many larger pushchairs). It is very light and manouvers fantastically with one hand. The adjustable handlebars are great and there is good size storage underneath. Now he is that bit older it is easy and quick to turn the seat from rear to outward facing to enable him to see what's going on in the world. Unlike many of my friends who are now considering buying lighter, onefold 'strollers' in place of their large prams there is no need to do this with the bee. Would highly recommend. 22 April 2014
worth every penny I've been using this buggy for 16 months now and am still very pleased with my purchase. i love that it's light enough that I can pick the whole thing up and lift it onto the train, even with a 1 year old in it. Some buggies take a real effort to push but this one glides beautifully and is very easy to push with one hand. It folds down to be very compact and fits perfectly into the boot of a FIat 500 even! I can't think of any negatives at all and throughly recommend it. 14 April 2014
Reveiw of the Bugaboo Bee+ This another product from Bugaboo designed with specific needs of parents in mind, with the Bee+ aimed at mainly city dwellers. It has been nicknamed by them the Urban and this is easy to see why. It can be folded quickly and easily and with the seat in place. It is small, light and compact to the extent it will fit into a small car boot - I have personally fitted this into the boot of a Toyota Yaris. The seat takes a child up to 17 kilos and can be fitted either to face the parent or when the little person begins to become inquisitive, can face forward. One great feature of the seat is that it extends forward and upward so grows with the child. Although the Bee+ has smaller wheels, it has spring suspension all round, and the previously mentioned problem with shimmying has been overcome with the introduction of new spring Wave Washers to the front wheels. The hood is supplied separately at an extra cost, however it is also a great way of changing the look with a different colour without changing the whole stroller. 06 February 2014
Love it I really like this pram, not disappointing but I am a little sad as I never knew there was the neon edition! Wish I had waited a bit longer to have that one instead. Otherwise, its lovely, light and very stylish. 10 February 2013
Love it I love my black bee, its comfy and is really easy to manoeuvre. I would definitely recommend it 28 June 2012
A bit rickety - paying for the name I have found this to be quite a flimsy pushchair and not one that is worthy of the price tag - there are much better for the money. The brand bugaboo is what is being paid for. The different colour ways are nice and bright but i would not buy this again if given the chance. It is a glorified stroller and better can be bought for the money in my opinion. 09 June 2012
good for the money After looking at all sorts of pushchairs we settled on this one because of the ease that it folded up and the ease that you can connect the car seat to it, It is also very light. The only bad point we have found was the safety strap on the handle was a pain so we removed it. So far we are very satisfied with this product and have found it to be value for money. 29 February 2012
Good pushchair for the city Had an initial problem with the first Bugaboo Bee I purchased (just a standard one), the folding handle failed and the wheels kept jamming. John Lewis were great and exchanged it (no quibbles) for this version very quickly. This version seems much better, it's looks great and is very light compared to many other pushchairs. I am very pleased with it overall. I like it because it's small and lightweight but hope my baby doesn't grow out of it too quickly. 16 January 2012
