Editor's Notes

In 1994 two men had an idea that revolutionised an industry and created one of the most sought after pushchair brands. In 1999 the first Bugaboo Classic appeared on the streets of Holland and since then they launched the Bugaboo Cameleon in 2005, the more compact Bee in 2007 and then the versatile Donkey in 2012.

Q & As

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Foam on handle doesn't last.... Been using this item for just under 6 months, it's beautiful, easy to manoeuvre, my daughter seems very comfortable in it, being our 3rd child we have seen a few pushchairs and until a week ago this was my favourite. Unfortunately the foam handle doesn't last, a problem I have since found out that john Lewis is aware of as they can order in handle covers when people come in with this problem. My issue is it's not 'fair wear and tear' that caused this as I couldn't have been more careful with the base and pram top, when not in use they sit inside separate fitted sheets to stop them rubbing. If John Lewis had informed me on purchase that within 6 months the handle would have a spilt in it then I would picked another system as I expect them to last at least 3 years (the pushchair top isn't even out if the packaging!!) the placement of the crack means no ring or nail could have cause it and my otherwise perfect pushchair now as superglue and horrid material cover keeping the foam on the handle. 29 May 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish & Practical I have today taken delivery of the apron set needed to complete my hotly anticipated Buffalo- very exciting! The chassis itself is relatively easy to assemble although there is a knack to attaching the carrycot fabric to the frame. I would recommend middle strap first then both ends before returning to the rest of the straps...... However due to no written instructions I was left feeling like I should have gotten a degree in engineering when trying to assemble the sun canopy... I still have no idea how I finally managed this as my final (successful) attempt didn't seem to differ from my first attempt... What should have been a quick 5min job turned into a frustrating 35min ordeal!!! The picture shows two elastic loops on each side... There is only one and I have attached this to the hook on the base of the clip and this seems to be OK! Now that it is complete i am really happy with the look and feel of this pushchair... Overall it feels sturdy and is really easy to collapse and reassemble- obviously it is a little larger than some pushchairs but it doesn't feel overly heavy! Seems fairly manoeuvrable and I can't wait to get using it when my little one makes his appearance! P.S I have opted for this over the chameleon due to the all terrain features as I live near rough tracks but the extra large shopping basket should prove really useful around the shops too! 09 September 2013
