Paint buying guide

The Sanderson Design studio has created the shades of Sanderson Collection: a colour palette of 120 subtle shades from the Spectrum colour range.

They have been selected to complement Sanderson’s own fabric and wallpaper collections as well as many other brands.

Why choose Spectrum paints?

Spectrum paints have a high quality finish and give excellent coverage and value for money. They're recognised as industry standards and frequently recommended by architects, interior designers and decorating professionals. All are manufactured to the highest standards in the UK.

Choosing colours

Paint colours will vary according to the fabrics, finishes and lighting conditions in the room. To help you make the right choice we strongly recommend you apply a tester pot to the area and observe the changing light conditions throughout the day. We also recommend you view the paints with the fabrics and other elements you plan to use in the room.

Choosing your paint finish

All colours are available in all finishes.

For walls, Matt Emulsion gives a classic flat look, while Water Based Eggshell can be used to achieve a completely scrubbable surface.

For woodwork and metalwork, the Oil Based Eggshell paints have an attractive flat quality, while the Gloss has a smart high sheen. Both finishes provide a beautiful textural contrast, both inside and out.
