Canterbury of New Zealand was established back in 1904 when 3 gents - John Lane, Pringle Walker and Alfred Rudkin - began producing woollen garments on the South Island in the province of Canterbury.
Their high-performance clothing was worn by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during the First World War.
Their success in battle resulted in the All Blacks rugby team requesting their kit be made by Canterbury. Boasting their rugby gear is made for life, this classic sporting brand still supplies clothing for champs.
