Good starter model
For the price this is a really good telescope. It is easy to set up and comes with good instructions and is good for bird watching or looking at the stars.
To see if you like astronomy this is an inexpensive way to find out.

Perfect Present - Suberb Delivery System!
I bought the Celestron TravelScope as a Christmas present for our 10 year old grandson - and it proved to be exactly what he - and his father! - wanted. It was quick and easy to assemble and has the great advantage of being portable.
Almost as important from my point of view was the efficiency of the delivery system, which enabled me to collect the gift from a local John Lewis Home within 36 hours of ordering - with none of the pre-Christmas anxiety of waiting for a delivery to our house.
Thank you John Lewis!

Just what I was looking for!
This little telescope complete with its backpack is ideal for my needs and at a very affordable price. I have always had an interest in the night sky but have never owned a telescope before. The assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and the telescope and tripod were soon ready to use. Of course, viewing the night sky depends on the weather, and it has been cloudy most nights since Christmas. On one clear night I sat out on the lawn at 01:00 and had a wonderful viewing of the moon and Jupiter-quite different from what can be seen with the naked eye-amazing! I want to take it on a clear day to one of the highest places on the Medip Hills where we live in Somerset, and to look out over Glastonbury Tor and over the Bristol Channel to the mountains of Wales.
This is really a beginners' starter telescope and is priced accordingly. The fact that it is easily carried in its little backpack makes it all the more attractive to casual observers like myself. Perhaps it will lead to greater things! Who knows?

This is a light weight, entry level, easily transported Scopewith outstanding optics for the price. I would recommend it to children or those occasional users who do not want to spend a fortune. This was a present and the best I can remember!

Great for begginers
really easy to assemble and excellent qulity! tripod could be alot better than it is, its very flimsy which makes ur image wobble but once its still the images are good! comes with really helpfull computer software to give you some idea of where to look and what your looking at. Ive never used a telescope before so was a complete begginer and managed to see several stars, the moon and jupiter and its moons! all in all very happy with the product!

Great product...Great fun
I bought this telescope for my husband's birthday and he has spent every (clear) night since on the beach with it! This is the first telescope he has owned and he has found it really easy to use. It has also been used during daytime, when the images are just stunning. Wonderful views of Saturn recently with all the rings etc...would highly recommend.
