Best bag ever I must say I've never found myself buying a John Lewis collection product but this bag is a MUST HAVE! You cannot go wrong, the size is large but I love my spacious bags, the zip in between, like mentioned in previous reviews, is quite stiff but its bearable! This bag makes a basic outfit look classy and on trend! one of my best purchases of 2013 so far! 20 April 2013

Awkward zip I bought this as it looks good and is a very good price. I like a bag to be big enough for all my essentials so was not discouraged by comments on its size. It may be that I am ham-fisted but I find the centre zip difficult to do up, requiring 2 hands and squeezing together of both bag edges to get it to start closing and turn the 90 degree corner. This means that I don't tend to fasten it up on which is neither safe nor attractive. 17 March 2013

Classy and functional! A really great, retro inspired and useful bag. I was worried it might be a bit too big but it is roomy without being too overwhelming. I have gotten many compliments on it and I am very happy with this purchase! 23 May 2012

Good practical size. I bought this to take to a wedding. Some may say its too large but when you need to take purse, camera, spare tights, safety pins,tissues, plasters, confetti, make up, hotel keys, car keys, card for the happy couple etc. Its Perfect. Its a really practical bag for work too as there's room for a bottle of water, it has a phone pocket and zipped pocket.. The lining is navy & beige so no peering into a dark chasm trying to find things. The zips seem sturdy and there are studs on the bottom which protect the underside of the bag. 16 April 2012

Good Quality Very speedy delivery! Bag a bit larger than expected, however due the colour and quality, I decided not to return it. It looks good with elegant clothes or with jeans and a blazer!! 21 March 2012
