Designer, Alison Mansell is the creative brains behind the label. Alison designed the much talked about polka dress that Samantha Cameron wore to the Conservative Party conference in 2009.

In February 2010, Damsel in a dress debuted exclusively at nine John Lewis stores across the UK and the John Lewis online store.

The brand blends vintage styles with today’s fashion to create “must-have” designs that can easily be worn day or night.

Every piece in the brand’s collection is handmade and each item is limited to 200 pieces to ensure they stay unique and distinctive.
