Q & As

De'Longhi ICM15210 Filter Coffee Maker, Black 3.3 5 6 6
Good value coffee filter Very straight forward to use, great coffee filter and keeps the coffee hot. Would recommend this product, very good value. 29 July 2014
Looks good in kitchen As above looks nice, with a chrome and white kitchen. But disappointed the jug does not pour very well drips all over worktop. Could even return. 28 May 2014
To be avoided We bought our De'Longhi Filter Cofee Maker a few months back and since then, in about 50% of the cases, the hinge holding the filter has sprung open while the water was running. The result is a corner of the kitchen flooded with hot, brown water. In the beginning I thought I did something wrong, but this seems to be a constant occurrence. I am going to throw the thing out and buy something decent. If you value the ability to make a brew with minimal fuss and even less mopping of spillages, I suggest avoiding this model 28 January 2014
bought as a present I bought this coffeemaker as a present, the person I bought it for is delighted with it. 05 November 2013
Stews the coffee The machine works ok except for the hotplate which runs at too high a temperature. The coffe is therefore undrinkable after half an hour, which sort of makes it pointless having the hotplate in the first place. 23 October 2013
Works but flimsy. De'Longhi's design engineers are to be congratulated for producing an item that is so flimsy yet still works, though for how long remains to be seen. This was a replacement for a John Lewis-branded coffee maker which was much more robustly made. In addition to its very lightweight construction the swing-open coffee tray of the De'Longhi does not stay shut very positively and the jug sometimes takes a bit of fiddling to get in place. All in all, not a triumph of design but I suppose this is how they keep the price down. It does, however, make a reasonable cup of coffee and is not too loud in operation. 21 August 2013
