Denbigh School Unisex Pullover, Black
my daughter had to have this for her uniform and it was falling to bits after a few months. All of the cuffs around the wrists & waistline started to fray. Vey poor quality for the price and now i am being forced to buy it for my son who will be joining the same school. By looking at other comments i am not the only one with this opinion.

Over priced for quality
I was not giving to give this item any stars but it would appear that I have to give it at least one. I bought it less than a year a go and within 6 months it had holes in both elbows and one of the cuff seams. It is also coming apart at the vee of the neck. Considering that we can only buy this item through John Lewis which is supposed to be a seller of quality goods, it is a very disappointing purchase.

This jumper never loses its shape or shrinks despite being tumble dried. My sons previous jumper actually lasted two years and still looked like new. It doesn't go all bobbly or fray or come apart. The elbows doesn't wear out either. My son plays football during his breaks and the jumper has passed that test too. I personally wasn't happy with the cost until I bought one and realised that they turn out to be better value than the cheap ones elsewhere. I highly recommend this jumper and actually think thy are great value for money.

Odd fit, long arms and wide body.
Disappointing for John Lewis as usually the quality of stock is much higher.
Very expensive for not a particularly good product, but as it is an essential part of the school uniform, there is no choice.
Also, for an item of school uniform it would be useful to have a label to write child's name on.

They come up small compared to the old style and not a thick .

OK if your child is short, fat and feels the cold!
New jumpers just arrived, the supplier has changed and the new ones are a terrible fit. Far too short and wide, arms too long - and far too thick as the school insists they are worn all year round.
Who chose the new suppliers? the school or John Lewis?
The old ones were much better. Its annoying to have to pay so much for such a substandard product and have no choice.
I think if John Lewis can address this there should be some sort of "trade in" offered.

well it is what it is a black school jumper not a fashion item.
I have had it a fee weeks now & my daughter has used it every day & its been washed a couple of times a week. It has stayed in shape & washed up nicely. It startes you can put it in a tumble dryer on a low setting, but i haven't been that brave. All in all a good quality school jumper.
