hours of fun Got these for my toddler and he absolutely loves them and is 'nee nawing' all over the house. They were bigger than I thought so didn't fit in his stocking as planned but this is probably better for him. The only thing is that he has managed to break off a bit already, but he does have a tendancy to throw things around the room and they are only plastic. Good value. 29 December 2011

value for money bought as a present for my 2 year old. they are very light and quite plasticky but worth what we paid for them. 30 November 2011

Popular toys Yes they are plastic and are fairly lightweight, but they look realistic, have moveable parts and are still going strong after a year - nothing broken yet although the stretcher does now need re-attaching to the helicopter rope. All 4 toys are still played with a lot by my son who is 3 (and his little brother)! The helicopter with the wind up 'rescue rope' is his favourite. Overall a good value product which has been well used. 23 October 2011

Cheap and nasty really The stickers on these vehicles look like they have been hastily applied - they aren't really stuck down and were curling up from the moment we opened the packet. Also on the police car they stickers look too long for the car - as if they were perhaps meant for a different car. The helicopter blades fold back and should click into place but the catch is feeble so they spend most of their time at an odd angle. I would have returned these but my daughter doesn't seem to mind the shoddy workmanship - so I haven't bothered. I was disappointed as I buy at John Lewis because I expect quality (even if the product is not manufactured for JL directly). I am so glad these were for my child and not a gift for someone else's as I would have been embarrassed! I would not recommend these. 07 September 2011

Good quality toy Ordered this online as birthday gift for 3-year-old. Feared it would be rather cheap-looking and tacky, but not the case - high quality, and there is a lot of toy for the money! Little boy loved it and 3 months later still gets a lot of play, with no breakages so far. Very pleased with my purchase. An impressive-looking gift, good value. Highly recommended. 20 July 2011
