For the price, this is a really good partner to a small electric stove. Looks attractive and very realistic.

This is perfect to finish off the look of a Dimplex Stockbridge 'woodburner' electric stove, which we also purchased from John Lewis. Our first Hearth Slab arrived promptly - but sadly, it was broken in two! It took several phone calls/emails to get it re-ordered and re-delivered, but John Lewis did refund delivery, and, (though I am still awaiting it!) offered a Voucher by way of compensation for the further 2 weeks' wait for the second one. Despite the hitches, we are delighted with the effect of this slab, and glad we decided to be patient........

This is well worth the money. Prompt delivery and the product is great - heavy, well made and really looks like authentic slate. It really sets the fire off and looks fantastic.

This hearth pad sets off our 'plug in and go' flame effect electric fire beautifully and makes it appear more grounded. The material is so like slate friends won't believe that it's not. It has very realistic edges to it which look like it's just been hewn from a slate quarry. A really good buy and so reasonable in price.
