The Dimplex Club CLB20R is a mid-sized cast-iron style electric stove fire designed to fit on a standard hearth. It has Dimplex's Optiflame® Elite log effect, with the illusion of dying embers, even when switched off. There's a choice of heat settings, with the controls neatly concealed behing the opening door.

Cosy stove This is a wonderful fire when it is working. But its powers for over heating and cutting out completely, leaving you with just the 'effect' , have meant that I have had to send back two fires since November 2012. I am now on my third. Fingers crossed. I just wish John Lewis stocked other brands. 20 May 2013

Cosy company Thought we would try a flame effect stove to replace our real fire. Obviously it is not the same BUT we have been able to temporarily block the chimney and the decline in draughts is HUGE. Cosy flame effect makes you feel warmer. We haven't used the fan yet because the background central heating and double glazing has been enough. Very pleased so far and it has been very chilly outside. 07 December 2012

Impressed I bought this for my small lounge, it is just the right size, I use it mainly for the effect but will also use the fan when the central heating is not really required. The flame effect is very natural and I am very impressed with this item. I also bought the slate hearth pad to go with it and it looks very good. 04 December 2012

Really great product My new Dimplex Fuel-Effect "Stove" Fire, not only looks great, it keeps me warm. I added to the effect for my Stove, a Hearth which keeps the legs of the stove from making dents in the carpet. The two work very well together. 30 April 2012

A boon for those cold summer evenings. Even if you have central heating, there will be times in the spring or autumn when the evenings are a bit chilly but you don't want to heat the whole house. This heater is the answer. It is cosy and authentic-looking 21 March 2012

excellent value for money I've put this stove in my kitchen which is rather dark and it sits in the corner looking cheery. I,m very happy with it. It has nice clean lines and the fuel effect is very effective. It is light enough to transport to another room if one needs a boost to somewhere else on occasion. I put it in my study for a couple of nights and it kept me company very nicely! 31 August 2011
