Dreamgenii Maternity and Nursing Pillow

Product information

The unique DreamGenii support pillow is designed to help achieve a more restful sleep from the second trimester onwards.

Soft and comfortable the pillow provides discreet support for your tummy, back and knees without taking up too much space, so you and your partner can both rest comfortably. The DreamGenii is also designed to encourage you to sleep on your left side, in the recovery position, which, if used regularly from the second trimester, can encourage baby to get into the optimum position for birth. However, it's still possible to sleep on your right hand side if you find this more comfortable.

The leg support will gently elevate your legs while you sleep so pressure is taken off your back and tummy.

Once baby has arrived, the DreamGenii can be used as a feeding support pillow, so you know you'll get plenty of use from it.

Q & As

Dreamgenii Maternity and Nursing Pillow 3.9 5 48 48
Love, Love, Love I was struggling to sleep as baby bump grew and this has majorly helped. It took a few days to get used to but now can't do without - it will be travelling with us to a hotel next week! Great as also supports your back and keeps you on your left side which is best for baby rather than turning over in the night. Good investment. 02 September 2014
Not very supportive I bought this as I started getting back pain from about 18 weeks, however I found it to be a bit flimsy and not at all supportive for back, bump or legs. 01 August 2014
Far from being a genii but better than nothing Although not perfect, here are the product's positives: the fact that the back support is attached to the front is great as it means neither part will roll away from you while you sleep. It stops my hip from rolling too far forward and hurting my back. It also stops me from lying completely flat on my back, although I do often find myself lying on the back support at an angle. If you prefer sleeping on your right side you can just turn the pillow over to do so. It is compact and comes in a reusable pouch in case you are travelling, this is useful. The negatives: it is flimsy, the back support is not chunky enough (I am a small size 8/10), the front part has already been weighed down from my leg and the stuffing has fallen to the bottom and it is not actually possible to "re-fluff". I still sleep with it every night as it is better than nothing. I cannot compare it to other maternity pillows as this is my first. 10 July 2014
essential for a improving my sleep This makes sleeping more comfortable and you get used to it pretty quickly. I am very glad i bought it. 07 June 2014
Couldn't sleep without it! I was a bit skeptical about how useful this would be but from 28 weeks of pregnancy I have found the Genii pillow invaluable. It is a bit strange at first but the best thing about it is that it stops me rolling flat on my back during the night which definitely lessens heartburn. 01 April 2014
Good to use during pregnancy I bought this cushion during mid pregnancy when it was getting difficult to sleep at night , and it was great!!!..... Really supported my bump and back and gave me a good nights sleep...! However after having baby tried to use it for breastfeeding and it wasn't that great..didn't give me the support i was looking for and kept slipping.. Bt would recommend for pregnancy! 29 January 2014
Restful nights sleep I bought this pillow when I was around 5 months pregnant and it had started to get difficult to get a good nights sleep. I am now 8 months and very glad that I bought it as I have used it ever since. I used to sleep on my front so forcing myself to sleep on my left side was hard and I was tossing and turning all night but with this pillow it was easier to stay in this position during the night and to get a more restful nights sleep. Having the pillow between your knees also helps to ease pain from your hips too as your baby bump grows. It may seem like a lot of money to invest in a pillow but for a good nights sleep throughout your pregnancy it really is worth it, plus I use it on our sofa to get comfty in the evening and I am planning to use it for breastfeeding. I am giving this four stars instead of 5 because the piillow case it comes with really isn't great, it should come with a case the same quality as the one you can buy. 31 December 2013
Not for everyone I bought this for my wife when 5 months pregnant but she found the back support uncomfortable and the lower portion didn't go as far down/round as shown on the instructions. I think it's just this isn't really suitable for every body shape so try before you buy- may be better suited to later on in the pregnancy or afterwards for feeding. Bought it at 5 months just to help with sleeping. Bought a different maternity pillow that did the trick- a long thick one that goes straight from top of bed to the bottom and be moved more easily. 10 December 2013
