Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsPink Best Toaster we ever bought
After buying various makes of mid-priced range toasters which either didn't toast fully, broke or looked tired after a couple years we decided to invest in a Dualit on recommendation from a family friend. This is the best toaster we have ever bought and is well in to its 5th year! it looks good, is robust and toasts perfectly.

This is a good looking and well made toaster, but the slots are so tiny that you have to cut in half slices of many better quality breads. It would take regular square sliced bread, but sourdoughs and better quality breads just won't fit unless you cut them down. Pretty useless if that is the type of bread you like. It also does not eject the toast; you have to raise it with a lever.

The best toaster we have ever owned, its the old story "you only get what you pay for".
Build quality is 100%, the functions take a while to get use to, but having the lift and view feature means you always get good results. Next purchase will be the matching Kettle. No regrets if not a tad expensive

May only be a perception, but this toaster appears to produce toast much quicker than our last toaster. Both sides are toasted equally and evenly over the slice. Slots seem to be of a similar size to other toasters, this accommodates a small loaf, (400g), slice from the breadmaker, a 500g breadmaker loaf slice would stand well above/out of the toaster, it would need the slice to be cut in half. Very easy to operate and doesn't look too bad either. Would have given 5* if the slots had been a little larger

This is an expensive product, but it works brilliantly. The timer is big and on the front of the machine where you can see it, you can pop the toast up during the cooking and look at it, and the toast is uniformly browned. It feels solid and completely bomb-proof. You could probably buy several cheaper toasters for the money, but this one is just better.

Finally a toaster that does not feel like it will fall apart within six months. I agree that it is a little pricey however a five year warranty and the fact it has replaceable parts gives me hope.

My wife and I equip holiday cottages in SUffolk and I've lost count of the number of Dualit toasters we've purchased! They're fabulous quality and our guests love them!
