Dyson DC28c Multi Floor Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner 4.6 5 16 16
Making vacuuming a pleasure.. This is a great product at a great price. Very powerful and robust, this Dyson is very agile and makes vacuuming a real pleasure. You can actually see result, and a great difference when compared to my old vacuum cleaner. I would definitely recommend this product. And if I may add, the guys at John Lewis in Purley Way were amazing and very helpful. Plus I got a great deal by trading in my old vacuum cleaner. 08 July 2014
Excellent! Great machine, easy to build and use. Suction on this machine is outstanding, easy to empty, clean and store. I'd ignore comments about its manoeuvrability as ours goes from hard to soft surfaces with ease. Great for the staircase with its on board tools - close to hand when attached to the main pipe. All we're really happy with this machine. 15 June 2014
Love my 1st Dyson i bought this vacuum a few months back, John Lewis were more expensive than Curry's however when i realised this they refunded the difference and I since see they have adjusted their price, so very good!! Vacuum has excellent suction although i only have carpet on stairs it easily does all floor types. it sits on my stairs well but do note that turning corners it can tip up. I find the handle very good as i would get sore hands with my older vacujum but not with the dyson, it is lite enought to carry upstairs etc. well pleased!! 13 June 2014

Dyson DC28c My initial impressions are good. However only time will tell if it continues to perform as well. Would have been nicer to have a slightly longer cord. 20 May 2014
Great investment! It 's the first time I've bought a dyson, I always go for Miele. I have to say it has impressed me next to the Miele as well. Manoeuvring it around my house is very easy and it is excellent at picking hair up. You can't go wrong buying from john lewis as if anything goes wrong the customer service is superb.. 20 May 2014
Love my new Dyson Finally got round to replacing my old Dyson, was a little worried at first as I've always had an upright but this model Is great. It's gets into all the spaces really easily and has great attachments too. I have a four bed detached and this Hoover is plenty big enough, it does not need emptying often. It is slightly more of a challenge to store away than an upright but other than that it's perfect. 20 May 2014
Donesn't live up to the hype I have given this a couple of months to be more balanced. 1st reaction is WOW it's a great machine with real suction. However, don't throw away your old vacum just yet as there is a lot of room for improvement. On the PLUS side This has Great suction power - the results on our carpet are amazing. However, there is LOTS of ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT - 1. The flex section is too short - making it very difficult to 'do' window sills. This is maddening! Plus with a full extension it will not reach the top of our curtains without picking up the whole machine. 2. It keeps falling over - this is a major design fault - if you pull it in any direction other than straight ahead it tends to tip over. 3. It is RUBBISH for stairs (& we have 2 sets) it simply will not stay on the step it rolls over no matter what position you put it in. The only solution is to CARRY IT as you do the stairs. 4. Storage - there is no where to put it as it takes up a huge amount of space. It is cumbersome & the hose section juts out. They should have looked at standard vacuum design for storage as this is a big backward step. 5. HAIR - this is a real problem for the Dyson. My wife has shoulder length hair & it is just about impossible to pick up with this machine off a carpet. What does get picked up clogs the brushes on the head. The only way to get round this is to use an old hair brush on the carpet before vacuuming! 6. The Dyson is not very good at picking up debris on the forward stoke, most of the time you have to push it along and then work backwards to clean. This is a problem not only in design but when combined with 2 above (machine falling over) becomes annoying, as you really need to work a carpet going backwards. In Summary, this reminds me a lot of Daniel Day Lewis & the Oscars - you get seduced by the name & the fact that it won lots of awards but really you sit there thinking "surely it's going to get better", so you stick with it until it's over & then you realize that it DOESN'T! 23 April 2014
