- Project Type
Founded in the East of England by traveller John Ayris and textile design student Anne Spratling, East of India brings a clashing of cultures and creativity together with its distinctive collection of ceramics, fabrics and gifts. The pair met a talented craftsman in Asia who had beautifully handcrafted several ornaments, the couple purchased and brought these items back to the UK for their families to receive. Due to high demand, John and Anne established their own business through which they could sell more of these quality handmade products that are now available in shops across the UK.
