Head over heels in love with this table! We spent much time debating whether to buy this table because although we loved it in the shop, we were put off by the reviews about how hard it was to put together. In the end we bit the bullet and ordered it. It arrived yesterday and we could not be more happy with it! It comes with just the legs needing to be attached. My husband put them on with no problems at all and it took only 10 minutes!! We couldn't believe it- dont know if we were just lucky but really could not have been easier. The wood is beautiful and overall the table just looks fantastic. Would recommend this table to everyone!!! 24 March 2013

Looks great I had this put together by the delivery men who did a fantastic job. As per the other reviews, this table was tricky to put together, so it took them around 30 mins to assemble it. John Lewis give the delivery men 7 mins to assemble the table, but this is unrealistic and unfair on them. The instructions say it will take up to 60 mins! The quality of the product is very good. I wouldn't give it 'excellent' status as one of the threads on the metal barrel had a fragment of metal in it that needed removing before it could be used (this is part E in the table instructions, so perhaps check them on delivery). FYI - I had the same issue on the same part (metal barrel) for the Mira Coffee Table I bought too, but I was able to resolve the problem by removing the shard of metal (part D in the coffee table instructions, so perhaps check them on delivery). 06 January 2013

Tricky to assemble but looks great A lovely elegant modern table - I am really pleased with it. However it was tricky for the delivery men to put together - they get 4 mins to put together a table on a delivery however it took them over 30 mins - they then left it missing a screw and I had to have John lewis men back to readjust it. It took them a further 20 mins of fiddling about. If you choose to buy this table I would recommend that you ask John Lewis if the specialist assembly team (apparently JL have one according to our delivery driver) can come and assemble rather than leaving it for the delivery drivers. You will get a better and probably quicker result! 15 May 2012

Excellent once made. We are delighted with this table now that it is finally up, but getting to this stage proved a little difficult. The table has to be built by the purchaser. We spent an entire midweek evening attempting this task and were unable to complete the job. I spoke with John Lewis and they were helpful in putting us in touch with a professional furniture fitter. The fitter was able to complete the task, but agreed that some of the holes into which certain screws were to be fitted were too small. I understand other purchasers have expreienced similar problems with this product. That said, once built the table looks very nice and we are very pleased with it. 18 November 2011
