A gold plated butterfly brooch from Trifari, dating from the 1960s. Featuring glass and plastic details, with glittering paste stones set along the top of the wings.
 
Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained at Cartier. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium and was first to copy write its jewellery designs.
 
Please note, this is a limited production piece of vintage jewellery.
