Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour® Cream Lip Protectant Stick Sheer Tint SPF 15
A' Must Have' product!
I have used the 8 hour lip protectant stick for many years starting with the basic neutral colour. Ever since Blush 02 was introduced, I have never been without it. A lovely natural looking product to use on its own, or with another colour on top. Lips always feel nourished.

Must have for smooth lips
Creamy smooth but lightly coloured, these lipsticks are a must have in the handbag. The SPF15 keeps lips protected from summer and winter sun while the creamy formula means total hydration.

Just like 8hour cream this lipstick is a moisturiser and has the advantage of colour.

This is a light and easy to appy lip balm suitable when lips feel slightly dry or when the full cover of a traditional lipstick isn't desired The tint provides just enough colour for a casual look.

Great moisturisation - not sure on the smell...?
I was looking for something to replace the lip stains which are available by high street cosmetics and although I like the colours and initial matt look, they don't last very long. I was hoping this lip protectant would give me added benefits, as well as a nice colour.
I bought it in 'honey' hoping for a nude look but it is actually darker than that. My skin tone is fair, with dark hair and honey looks nice. I wouldn't say it lasts 8 hours - the sheen is gone fairly quickly but my lips do feel moisturised.
In other reviews the smell is generally well liked but I"m afraid I'm not keen. There's something a bit clinical about it which is a shame. This is all I would change.

really helped moisturise chapped lips and gave a nice slight colour

Great during this winter chill
I had forgotten about the eight hour treatments, and stumbled across this product by pure chance.
With the added bonus of a sheer tint - I thought why not.
Definitely not disappointed in this purchase.
Another John Lewis win.

Non lipstick lipstick
I've tried plenty of lipsticks and lip tints that end up sticky or disappear very quickly, or dye my lips an alarming shade of pink that makes my husband laugh out loud. This one gets it right. It stays put. The colour is subtle in one layer, but put on more and it gets brighter. It's not sticky and doesn't sneak over my lip line so I look like Edna Everage. I bought pink and this looks bright in the stick, but natural on the lips without being so plain it looks like transparent gloss. I'm not a lipstick expert by any means but this one is great and considering it has been used pretty much every day since I bought it, wearing well, so worth the price.
