Editors Notes
In 1895, roofer and knitter Franze Falke-Rohen founded his own knitting mill. This family run business would go on through the turmoils of World War One, and expand to a wool and yarn mill in Schmallenberg which would become the company’s headquarters.
In 1948 Falke expanded production from knitted socks to hosiery, making the first nylon hosiery in Germany, and pioneering the production of hosiery on a cotton kitting machine. They’ve since gone on to produce wide menswear and womenswear lines, as well as multiple Red Dot Design winning sportswear.
Falke’s selection of robust and attractive socks and hosiery provide chic and stylish office and casual wear.
