A vision to live a life of skiing, surfing and living on the edge saw two creative geniuses, Tim Slade and Jules Leaver, build a fashion empire.

The pair began their label, Fat Face (named after their favourite mountain) in 1988, selling uniquely printed T Shirts on the slopes of the French Alps, to like-minded individuals, who craved easy-wear fashion.

Fine knit cardi This is a beautiful fine knit cardi which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. Excellent quality and such a good fit. The only problem was that it was more of a purple and not a dark navy and so I returned it. If it had been dark navy it would have looked really elegant and classy and easier to match up with other clothes. I was really disappointed in the colour but a fabulous cardi if you like purple/blue. 17 December 2012
