Q & As

Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by George Nelson Bubble Lamp I have just put mine up it looks very good. However be warned the engineering feat required to erect this lampshade should not be underestimated. Firstly it only comes with an Edison screw fitting not standard UK bayonet fitting. The whole weight of the shade and fittings (not inconsiderable) have to be supported, in my case at the top of a step ladder. At the same time trying to insert the wires and secure them at the same time. It wouldn't take much imagination for John Lewis to get the suppliers to re-design the fixings. I am now dreading when we have the place re-decorated because it will be the reverse procedure. You really need scaffolding to put this up safely, especially with a 10 foot high ceiling. 25 April 2015
