Gruffalo Pyjamas, Navy 3.4 5 7 7

Sadly, tops too small & image fades I bought some of these Gruffalo pyjamas for my boys before Christmas for their "Christmas Eve" pyjamas. I need to echo other reviewers--the tops are incredibly small, where the trousers are incredibly big! My son is a small 7, and a 5-6 is too big on the bottom & too big on the top. Also, it must be said that in less than a month of washings (1x a week) since Christmas, the picture has nearly completely faded. :( 29 January 2013

Good quality but the tops are too small, disappointing. These pj's are very good quality, they wash up well and look great! However, the top is far too small for the size it is recommended for. I bought size 3-4 and 5-6 for my two sons but had to purchase a top in 7-8 which luckily I managed to get in store at a reduced price because the bottoms were missing. My 6 year old is wearing the 7-8 top with the 5-6 bottoms and my 3 year old is wearing the 5-6 top with the 3-4 bottoms! Would recommend you try these on before buying. 10 January 2013

Lovely but top a little small These are lovely and were bought for my grandson age 2yrs 10 months. He wore them the first time today. He loves them but we feel the top could be a little more roomy. He is average height and build for his age (far from chubby) but the top fits him now and the sleeves are a little tight when you try to roll them up for when he is eating breakfast. We bought age 3/4 but am not sure the top will last until he is 4. Have not been washed as yet so cannot comment on that. 27 December 2012

proper boys pyjamas ! after seeing my grandson walking around in his sisters PINK gruffalo pyjamas I bought these navy ones for his 2nd birthday last week. The quality and fit are just the same as his sisters but we think he looks a little more boyish now ! ! thanks John Lewis for your exceptional service. 01 November 2012

Really poor product These pyjamas are really expensive and after wearing them for a couple of times, the top appears very small compared to any other 5-6 year clothing. It would have been no good going up to the age 7-8 as this would have meant the trouser part would fall down - they already do on this pair!! Very disappointing 20 October 2012
