Kub Haywood Glider Nursing Chair and Footstool, Natural
Comfy and Relaxing
I had sat on one of these when my daughter-in-law borrowed one when she was nursing my grand daughter, and found it very comfortable even for me just to sit on.
Was considering getting one for her for the next child, but upon reading the last review was surprised and concerned so decided to check it out first. Fortunately it is just as good as I remembered so had no problem in getting one.

Better than sitting on a cardboard box...I guess.
Husband and I agree that this chair is unacceptably uncomfortable, and particularly considering the price. Seat and arm cushions have no give and are stiff. It is barely a step up from sitting on a rocking chair without cushions. I estimate that all of the cost comes from the wood and the rocking mechanism. The back cushion is okay, but it is as though the seat and arm cushions are a styrofoam afterthought. I'd much rather sit on my couch or in any of the number of chairs that I tried out at that gigantic Swedish retailer. This chair is going back to John Lewis.

Good value for money
I found the chair very comfortable to use. Baby and I nurse very comfortably. The rocking motion is very soothing, and the foot stool works really well with in tandem with the chair.
Pockets on each arm are extremely useful for keeping cloths and water etc.
The product is good value for money (considering what similar chairs would cost from other retailers), but at this price level there are a few issues that I have found. One of the fabric ties on the back rest snapped off meaning that it isn't as tightly secured to the chair's frame anymore. The stitching looks a bit light weight on the ties, so be gentle when you sit down and lean back.
One issue I found was with the arm rests; the padding on the arm rest does not cover the piece of sharp wood at the front of each arm. The piece of wood seems to be positioned in a way to make it most likely to collide with baby's head while in a feeding position. Would be nice if it were covered up. I keep towels on both arms to prevent baby's head from being knocked.
The rocking mechanism on my chair is very squeaky. We had to use some DW40 on some of the moving parts to get it to quieten down. The foot stool did not squeak.
The smell of the fire-proof treatment on the fabric was very overpowering when new. The manual states correctly that this smell disappears with time, but it took a few weeks of feeling like I was being fumigated before the smell went away.
If you're on a budget, you won't find anything else similar for this price. Worth knowing that it isn't the perfect chair though.

I put off buying this product as i wanted to have all the other 'essentials' first however since having this i wish i had got it earlier! It is comfortable, supportive and relaxing. I have spent many an hour sat in this chair, reading relaxing and drifting off to sleep and baby isnt even here yet! It arrived earlier than expected, was easy to assemble, is ideal as a nursing chair and looks great too! Anyone debating whether to get this or not should go for it, i have had my moneys worth from it already but expect to get many more years from it (my friend has had hers for 4 years now and it is still good as new).

Living the dream
We had seen these gliders in several stores and loved them. I finally got round to getting one for my wife and am glad I chose John Lewis for my purchase. Speedy delivery and good communication. It was much easier to put together than I expected.
Top bonus is that my currently pregnant wife finds it so comfortable that I get the sofa to myself.

Comfy chair but shame I had to wait so long for the fixings!
The chair is very comfy and good when you are breast feeding.
Very frustrating though that when the chair was delivered there were no fixings in the box so we could assemble it. Even more frustrating was the fact that I had to wait almost 3 weeks for this issue to be resolved so I could finally use my chair!

Comfortable for nursing but not attractive
I have been using this product to nurse for 5 months; its very comfortable and the large side pockets are useful for bibs, muslins, hand cream, lip balm etc.
The cover is not washable and gets stained very easily. 'Vanish' spray works well on the fabric.
Its not an attractive piece of furniture but for the price and utility its worth it.
