Great chair and really comfortable - so much so the grown ups have been falling asleep in it. Highly recommend

My son has only just turned 4 months old and the whole back of the chair and one arm completely fell apart while I was doing a night feed.
The quality on this is awful and I definitely would not recommend it, it's not fit for purpose

It's such a shame - we bought this online on the basis on the number of 5 star reviews for the product. My husband and I must just have different body shapes! The whole time you feel like you're going to fall off the seat, it is really uncomfortable and the back is not very supportive at all. We have a 9-month old baby and have survived til now without a glider chair but we thought we'd give it a go. The description says it has a "spacious wide seat" and I'm afraid it's not wide enough to hold a 9-month baby across it! So, if you're just looking for something for the early weeks/months then fine but unfortunately this is not a chair that you will be able to read to your little ones for years to come. We will be returning - shame as it looks like really good quality but it's simply not fit for purpose.

As the title states, an absolutely superb quality nursing chair!
I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and have SPD, "bump" is also very low and sitting in ordinary chairs can prove to be ridiculously painful. This chair, however, is simply perfect for relaxing in after a hard day at work.
Delivery was well communicated through email and the courier was lovely enough to bring the box inside through to the lounge for me.
The chair itself was a doddle for my husband to put up, clear instructions and easily less than 45 minutes was spent putting the pieces together.
The cushioning is more than ample and very comfortable even over an extended period of time. The gliding motion is smooth and no squeaks while rocking. The footstool's height compliments the seating position perfectly.
I especially love the pockets at the side of the armrest, which so far has been perfect for me to store my book and tv remote, although once baby arrives, I'm almost positive it will graduate to childrens books and other assorted baby paraphernalia.
All in all, I am simply over the moon with this purchase and look forward to using this chair for years to come.

Great chair. Im 37 weeks pregnant and suffering with joint pain. This chair has been a godsend. Comfortable and really easy to put together. Only downside was the delivery. Its sent via an independant courier And i wasnt told when it was arriving until after it had arrived!
Previous reviews have said its uncomfortable for taller people but for me at 5 ft its perfectly sized and i can even sleep resting my head on the back cushion. I cant wait to use it nursing my baby.

Been really pleased with the chair, perfect for nursing the baby. My only criticism is that the foam cushion is a bit thin and I'll soon get a cushion to sit on as it is already wearing a bit thin (after 4 weeks of fairly frequent use).

I had sat on one of these when my daughter-in-law borrowed one when she was nursing my grand daughter, and found it very comfortable even for me just to sit on.
Was considering getting one for her for the next child, but upon reading the last review was surprised and concerned so decided to check it out first. Fortunately it is just as good as I remembered so had no problem in getting one.

Husband and I agree that this chair is unacceptably uncomfortable, and particularly considering the price. Seat and arm cushions have no give and are stiff. It is barely a step up from sitting on a rocking chair without cushions. I estimate that all of the cost comes from the wood and the rocking mechanism. The back cushion is okay, but it is as though the seat and arm cushions are a styrofoam afterthought. I'd much rather sit on my couch or in any of the number of chairs that I tried out at that gigantic Swedish retailer. This chair is going back to John Lewis.
