The Hostess HT6030 cordless hot tray lets you keep your food hot, even on the dining table. As the hot tray is cordless and portable, it’s easy to heat up: an 8-minute charge gives you up to an hour’s worth of heat; the handles are cool to the touch and there’s a neon indicator to let you know when you need to plug the charger back in again. The HT6030 arrives in a brushed steel finish and is big enough to take 4 large plates.

Exactly what we needed Works very well but, as we knew from other reviews, the top surface marks very easily rather spoiling the product. 13 January 2013

Extremely useful for our Christmas festivities This moderately priced heated tray did exactly what I wanted. It heated plates and kept food warm. A good size for the kitchen work surface but would work well on the table for, say, chinese meals when you want to keep lots of dishes warm. 12 January 2013

Really usefull product I purchased this for over the festive season, and it was very good, did what it says on the label. Only downside as mentioned in previous feedback is that the hot plate marks very easily, which is very disappointing! however does not affect the products performance. Hence only 4 stars and not 5. 31 December 2012

Works well, but one small quibble I am very pleased with the way this hot tray keeps the vegetables etc warm on the table, and very pleased with its large size. It does not completely fill my dining table, but nevertheless has room for four of my normal sized serving bowls. My quibble is that the brushed metal service scratches so easily. A note in with the packing warned the user to be careful when using china containers, in case the surface becomes marked. So the manufacturer has obviously been told about this before! I thought this note meant that this could possibly happen. In fact it happens as soon as you use it in a normal way with normal crockery and cast iron oven to table ware. No real harm is done, but I was a bit disappointed to see my new toy looking used quite so quickly. Even my guests commented on how easily the pristine surface had been spoiled. This is not really serious, but bear it in mind before ordering. 02 November 2011

Fantastic product and it came well when we needed it. Well review request but is this the first time you have a review of products bought from John Lewis? Most of your products are really good and needed by customers in their homes but what really tops you is the after sales service. This is fantastic and staffs of your company really utilise this. 31 August 2011

performance OK This product is what I expected only keeping food warm. It's a shame they don't do the "hot spot" whereby Soups and fish dishes are kept piping hot all the time. I used to own one but unfortunately Salton has stopped doing it. 21 June 2011
