Q & As

House by John Lewis Maine Double Wardrobe, White 2 5 3 3
Okay - Just Agree! 60 mins is hopelessly optimistic to assemble although I managed it single handed in around two hours. Quality wise: I think somewhat expensive for what you get. It's wobbly and doesn't fit quite as flush as I would like. However, it looks good and for me is adequate for purpose. I was thinking of buying the matching chest of drawers but I am not now convinced it would be a good buy. 28 February 2014
It's flat pack This is advertised as 'partial assembly required' No it's total flat pack . I wish we had sent it back when we discovered that.We are pretty good at DIY but it took us 3mornings to build, not the one hour as suggested in the instructions. It looks ok now it's built but I need to get over the aches and pains resulting from the assembly process 11 April 2013
Took hours to assemble This wardrobe is compact and this is what I needed for a loft conversion. However, it is not partial assembly, it is flatpack. You have to assemble every component, top, sides, doors, handles etc. My husband even had to resort to using a hammer to persuade the components to slot together. If you want an easy life, don't buy this wardrobe. 01 April 2013
