Product information

With its 360 degree hinge, the HP Pavilion x360 is an immensely versatile convertible laptop at an affordable price. Ideal for entertainment on the go, the lightweight x360 features an 11.6-inch HD touch screen, Beats Audio technology and a large hard drive to store your media on.

Flexible computing
The Pavilion x360 can rotate its screen through a full circle, allowing you to sweep your device from laptop into tablet in seconds. Stopping partway through the rotation gives you more options too, so you can use it as a laptop for work, stand for watching movies, a tent for playing touch enabled games and a tablet for use on the go.

Rotate to the Beats
Enjoy music and movies with fantastic sound, thanks to the integrated stereo speakers and BeatsAudio technology. The speakers have been carefully designed for use in any position, while BeatsAudio will optimise sound output to ensure rich audio, whether you're listening to music, a movie, or spoken words.

Intel processing
With Intel's Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM, the x360 will deliver reliable performance for everyday tasks. The Celeron gives you the performance you need to communicate with friends and family, enjoy entertainment and create documents and spreadsheets.

Make a connection
The integrated HP TrueVision HD Webcam with dual array digital microphones will help you capture the details and be heard clearly as you chat with friends and family around the world, so you can enjoy face-to-face conversations, even in low light. Speaking of connections, with three USB ports and a memory card slot, you'll be able to use plenty of peripherals with your x360, while an HDMI port is perfect for connecting to an HD TV, monitor or projector to show off your content.

Q & As

HP Pavilion x360 11-n000ea Convertible Laptop, Intel Celeron, 4GB RAM, 500GB, 11.6" Touch Screen 2.6 5 7 7
Bad quality product Crackly speakers - so bad you couldn't hear the words being spoken. Also problems with the mouse freezing up and disappearing off the screen. After talking to HP and downloading updates no improvement they suggested a system restore which then corrupted most of the apps. I have now returned the product and will be looking for something more reliable. Shame as my old HP notebook hasn't caused me any trouble at all. 22 September 2014
Wireless almost unusable Great little laptop for the price other than one thing - the wireless reception is almost unusable. I have to be no more than 3ft from the router before it is stable. Going to go to HP support and check this out, if it can't be improved I will be returning the device. 04 September 2014
Painfully slow I purchased one of these for work purposes. Whilst it is a nice looking machine and fits into a briefcase with ease, it is just excruciatingly slow and, for my needs, not fit for purpose. The mouse has to be clicked several times before registering a response - this is no good when dealing with clients in short appointment slots. John Lewis service, as always, is impeccable, with prompt delivery and helpful staff at customer services. Sadly I will be returning the laptop and ordering an alternative from John Lewis. 25 July 2014
Good value netbook I bought one of these to replace my Toshiba XP Netbook. I wanted a similar size with an integral screen and some onboard memory. I had to return the first unit because of crackling noises when playing music or video. I thought I was going to have to return the replacement because of the same issue - but this afternoon I got a bios update from HP and the problem seems to be solved. The sound is rather good - especially through a proper hifi. I expect that is thanks to the good Dr Dre's beatsaudio. The touchscreen seems to be very accurate although the colours are slightly faded looking when playing video. It is absolutely fine for documents, email etc.. The case has quite a pleasing solid feel. It is pretty cheap for the spec so there are going to be compromises and these are: 1. it is quite heavy for its size compared to the Lenovo Yogas and the various split able PCs; 2. battery life is poor - less than 3 hours to watch iPlayer. Neither of these is a problem for me. And as above I prefer the permanently attached screen with the 360 hinge - which I find I use on the desk with a separate keyboard, not a use I had predicted. So a good buy if you don't have a big budget. 01 July 2014
My teenager loves this product I purchased this product in exchange for a faulty returned item. I preffered the original computer, but my daughter was more than thrilled with this item, it seems to have everything for her social life and homework. 11 June 2014
Lovely little machine Got this to replace an underwhelming Lenovo flex and it was well worth paying the extra. It's a great looking device - a really nice matt red - as well as being fast and sturdy. The speakers are decent for the size of the computer and certainly the sound knocks spots off the Lenovo and my previous Acer netbook. The keyboard is a good size and I find it easy to type at speed. All in all I'm really delighted with my purchase. I've even started to like Windows 8.1. 14 April 2014
it works but its not great it has a noisy fan its can be a bit slow at times the mouse sometimes is unresponsive (i have to tap it 2 or 3 times for my click to register) the touch screen is not as responsive as it should be (i know as my previous laptop was the hp touchsmart tx2 and i had it for 5 years) pro - if you need an affordable small laptop (its not very light but its ok) that works at an ok speed then its fine. but for me it's not good enough based on how much it costs for me to keep 13 April 2014
